The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is proud to host its annual meeting in Los Angeles, California from February 24th-26th, 2024. The meeting will be held at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

The AWM meeting is a great opportunity for women in mathematics to come together, network, and learn about the latest research in the field. The meeting will feature a variety of talks, workshops, and panel discussions on a wide range of topics, including:

Registration

Registration for the AWM meeting is now open. The registration fee is $250 for AWM members and $300 for non-members. The deadline to register is January 31st, 2024.

Accommodation

The AWM meeting will be held at the UCLA Conference Center. The Conference Center offers a variety of room types, including single rooms, double rooms, and suites. The room rates start at $150 per night.

Transportation

The UCLA Conference Center is located in the heart of the UCLA campus. The campus is easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest bus stop is the UCLA Medical Center bus stop, which is served by a number of bus lines. The nearest train station is the Westwood/Rancho Park station, which is served by the Expo Line.

Things to do in Los Angeles

In addition to attending the AWM meeting, there are a number of things to do in Los Angeles. The city is home to a number of world-famous tourist attractions, including:
